Hamamache Kheddouci is a full professor in Computer Science at Lyon 1 University. He obtained his “Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches” (french qualification) in Computer Science from the University of Burgundy - Dijon in 2003. He received his research Master degree (ex. DEA) and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Paris XI - Orsay in 1994 and 1998, respectively. Before, in 1992, he obtained an Engineering degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Computer Science - INI (or ESI) - Algiers. In 1997-1998, Prof. Kheddouci was an engineer in Computer Science at Kedros company - Paris. In 1998-1999, he was appointed as lecturer at Paris–XI University. From 1999 to 2004, he has been an associate professor in Burgundy University - Dijon. Since 2004, he joined Lyon 1 University as a professor in Computer Science.

He attended the following french research labs: LRI (1994-1999), LE2I (1999 - 2004), PRISMa (2004 - 2006), LIESP (2007-2010), GAMA (2010-2012) and LIRIS (2012 -… ). He was a visiting professor at several universities around the world including University of New South Wales (UNSW) - Sydney, University College Dublin, University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Arizona University, Sfax University and University of Reunion Island.
